Time is up

I was going through some photo's on my PC, a bunch were from last New Years Eve party, this one made me laugh, clearly you can see that things have moved on since our younger care free days.

Not sure if this is a good or a bad sign.

Leaflets

So today I have had no fewer than 11 different leaflets posted through my letterbox and quite frankly I am really fed up with them.

I don't want them, they go straight into the bin, I want some government legislation to ban leaflets, they serve no purpose, get rid of them.

Stuff in Letters

I got an invitation to a wedding today (well actually its a Civil Partnership !), and the envelope was very nice and so was the actual invitation, but why oh why do people insist on putting stupid little heart shaped things in the envelope, bloody dozens of them, so of course I pull out the invitation and they go all over the bloody floor, it took me ages to pick them all up, what's with people, stupid idea.

This has long been a major rant of mine, all the shit that appears at the bottom of emails, its total shit created by lawyers.

Why do we have to have all this shit, when I write a letter I don't put this shit on the bottom, if I talk to somebody I don't have to say this shit, so why with emails.

I sent a friend an email today, below is the email, I thought about removing the company name from the email but then I thought... name and shame, especially since its repeated, so they can't even be arsed to check what they send out.

Weather

Simple..... I HATE THIS COUNTRY the weather is totally shit, I am not amused, how long are we going to have this shit weather for, summer, what bloody summer.

Rip-off Leeds Bradford Airport

I am not having a great time at the moment with my flying, but yesterday I made a quick flight to see a client, I arrived in the car park at Leeds Bradford airport at 5:30am, I got back at 9:00pm, a total of 15 1/2 hours, how much did I have to pay £19.... what a complete and utter rip-off

I Hate Insurance Companies

My car insurance is due for renewal, I get a reminder through the post and guess what, its gone up, now I have maximum no claims discount, and was expecting an increase, but NOT 23%, yes 23%, its gone up to £440, its unbelievable.

So I rang More Than and asked for an explanation, which they said the market has just gone up, they offered to reduce it by £40, but there is no way I am going to do that.

Anyway, over the weekend I went and did some checking, on confused.com, Admiral insurance will insure me for £232, that's not far off half price, and guess what, More Than also quoted me a price on confused.com..... £276 what a bunch of wankers.
